Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Volunteers make our school go round! We have many types of volunteer opportunities with varying degrees of time commitment and flexibility.

Your time is greatly appreciated, and it is a huge contribution to all Clovercroft Elementary teachers and students.

Volunteer in the Colt Cafe, Workroom, Art Room or Library!

In the Colt Cafe

Our cafe staff works hard to ensure a smooth lunch hour! You can come serve food to your kids and their classmates to help out OR you can walk the aisles and support the staff by answering raised hands, passing out napkins and ketchup, and helping the Little Colts open their lunches.

In the Workroom

Did you know that the Clovercroft workroom is run by parent volunteers? If you have one to two hours of time to give, and enjoy a quiet copy room and organizing, this is a wonderful place for you! You must be trained to know the ropes in the workroom so sign up with Natalie Gapinski to try it out!

In the Art Room

If you have an hour, this is a fun place to help. There are incredible works of art to mat and hang in the hallways! You might also help tidy supplies or prepare for creative projects!

In the Library

Our fun filled library is big and full of so many books! If you have a half hour of time at the start of the school day, this is a great fit for you. You’ll help place books on their shelves after they’ve been returned by our wonderful students!

Volunteer at Clovercroft Events!

Keep your eyes open for opportunities to volunteer throughout the year in Events such as Cloverfest, Son & Daughter events, Parents & Pastries, Derby, 5th grade Year-end Activities, Used Book Drive, Book Fairs and more.  These opportunities will come to you in emails, social media and PTO Newsletters.

Volunteer as a Lead Room Parent!

Want to be at the heart of the action this school year? Become a Lead Room Parent (LRP)!

LRPs are the ultimate classroom connectors—they help keep the communication flowing among the PTO, teachers, and parents. As an LRP, you'll share exciting updates about special events, volunteer opportunities, and more with your class. Plus, you’ll team up with other LRPs in your grade to support your teacher and school throughout the year.

LRPs help bring the fun by:

  • Planning and leading the winter and end-of-year classroom parties
  • Rallying volunteers for big events like Cloverfest and the Derby
  • Collecting donations for Baskets & Bingo
  • Lending a hand with other fun projects as needed

It’s a great way to stay involved, meet new people, and make school even more special for our students and staff!  Reach out to Deirdre Fuerst with any questions at roomparentcoordinator@clovercroftpto.org.

Be on the lookout for a sign-up link from the PTO during the first week of school to express your interest!
